Bosch, a leading global technology and services company, sought to enrich their brand presence at trade fairs with innovative and interactive elements. In line with the dynamic and future-oriented #LikeABosch campaign, a competition was to be developed that would reinforce the brand message while attracting the public's interest.
The main aim of the competition was to revitalize Bosch's presence at the trade fair and generate valuable leads at the same time. The attraction of attractive prizes was intended to motivate trade fair visitors to actively engage with the brand. Another aim was to attract new newsletter subscribers in order to build long-term customer loyalty and strengthen brand communication.
The idea behind the competition was to offer trade fair visitors a simple yet exciting way to take part. By scanning a QR code, visitors were able to take part in the competition directly at the trade fair stand. After entering their data in a GDPR-compliant form, participants received an individual code by email, which they could enter on a separate landing page to view their potential prize.
The implementation of the competition included the creation of an appealing QR code that was seamlessly integrated into the overall design of the trade fair stand. The data request form and the entire software logic were carefully programmed to ensure compliance with the GDPR. The prizes - an eBike, a Bosch Smarthome starter pack and shopping vouchers - were specially selected to represent the wide range of Bosch products while offering a high level of appeal to trade fair visitors. The successful execution of the competition enabled Bosch to not only generate many valuable leads, but also increase interest in the brand and build a lasting relationship with potential customers.
